In Due Season

In Due Season

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9

Are you struggling with a crisis? Perhaps you’ve lost your job or you’re concerned about paying your bills. Maybe you’re starting to wonder if God will ever answer your prayers and send your miracle harvest!

Sometimes we get so focused on looking down at our own circumstances that we forget to look up—to look up to God and keep walking in the light of His Word and sowing seeds in faith. Remember that before you were even born God knew you and formed a plan for your life.

Jeremiah 1:9 says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” God’s plan for you is perfect, not subject to the whims of man and the uncertainty of the world. Whatever your circumstances are today, God calls us to stand on the solid rock of His Word and take shelter in His promises.

God says in His Word, “In due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Have faith, God is saying, keep believing.

The seeds we sow in faith today will become the harvest of blessings tomorrow—in due season, when the time is right.
