  1. Dorothy, great words. Yet, I find myself more moved by people who act on these words and do service to help their fellow humans. To me that honor’s God even more than being pious. In my work as a volunteer for people in poverty or who are homeless or victims I have seen wonderful acts of selflessness. To me that is the greatest of missions and the part about running into delays, difficulties, detours and dead ends rings so true as the people in need have seen these dreaded d’s as well as those trying to help. When people help others, it truly glorifies God and gives them the best spiritual reward in such service. Sorry for preaching to the choir. Bless you, BTG
