Perfect Peace

Softly, Spoke the River

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You; because he trusts in You.”

(Isaiah 26:3 MKJV)

Reflection:

There are many passages in Scripture where we are told not to worry, not to fear and not to fret. This is not an invitation to the power of positive thinking but a call to transfer our focus from ourselves to our God and Saviour. He does not infer that in each and every case He will remove the problem or that we may simply relax and do nothing. We may still need to attend to it or to journey through the situation. He does say however that He will be with us always, He will never let us go and that He will work in all things to the good of those who love Him.
