OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN

In this manner, therefore, prayur: O Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Matthew 6:9-13 NKJV00Lk000RM2s108

  1. Hi Dorothy, I have always been blessed by The Lord’s prayer but there has been some confusion with understanding it’s meaning as we see in this Scripture, we know that there is no contradiction in Scripture and they confirm as we can see below that God never Temps us, so it is not Him who leads us into Temptation as some claim but what it is saying is He protects us from the Slavery of sin, No Temptation will be greater than we cam bear. He strengthen us when Satan Temps us and regardless of what life brings to us, He is always with us as we also see confirmed in the Scripture below.

James 1:12-14 Blessed is the man that endureth Temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that Love Him. Let no man say when he is Tempted, I am Tempted of God: for God cannot be Tempted with evil, neither Tempteth he any man But every man is Tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.(KJV)

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.” (KJV)
